Dr. Andrew Marcell brings dedication, efficiency, and exceptional care to the team at Curio Eyecare. He specializes in managing complex eye diseases and ocular conditions, offering patients expert guidance and support for long-term eye health.
A Michigan native, Dr. Marcell was born in the Upper Peninsula and earned his Bachelor’s in Biology from Ferris State University in 2016. He went on to graduate magna cum laude and salutatorian in the inaugural class of the Chicago College of Optometry in Downers Grove, Illinois. He is an active member of both the American Optometric Association and the Michigan Optometric Association.
Known for his calm and compassionate approach, Dr. Marcell takes the time to listen to his patients and provide care that’s both thorough and tailored to individual needs. His clinical interests include:
- Specialty contact lens fittings for unique eye shapes and visual needs
- Comprehensive diabetic eye care, glaucoma treatment, and corneal disease management
- Advanced care for dry eye syndrome and other complex ocular conditions
Outside the office, Dr. Marcell enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily, and their three sons—Kameron (12), Liam (3), and Elijah (1). He’s also a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan… but we try not to hold that against him.
